Join Us For Community Classes At...

Our Classes

Our community classes run once per week for 2 hours each at a cost of $175 per class. Classes are held on our beautiful property in Aquebogue, NY.

We offer Zoom attendance for all classes except for Fitness Classes. 

ART

Spark your creativity in our weekly art class! We will explore the traditional art mediums like acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing and sketching, oil pastels, charcoal, and clay. We will also delve into paper mache, mosaics, sculptures using found objects, nature collages, and newer techniques like paint pouring. One of the best parts of art class is there is no right or wrong way to create. We love and encourage unique, individual applications for all of the projects we create together.

COOKING

Learning to cook has never been more fun! Do you have a love for cooking or just want to learn something new in the kitchen? Hone your cooking skills as we experiment with baking, sautes, pasta, roasting and much more. Cuisine is varied and includes different ethnicities based on student input and preferences. We also use our own fresh produce and herbs grown in our organic gardening program. Basic skills to get around the kitchen with some simple meals and more elaborate dishes to fine tune more complex skills.

BLOG WRITING

Transform your passion for writing into engaging online content! Over the course of this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of crafting compelling blog posts and engaging with your audience. We’ll explore various blog formats and teach you how to structure your posts for maximum impact. We’ll also delve into effective headline creation and captivating introductions that grab attention.  Whether you’re aiming to start a personal blog or enhance your professional writing skills, this class will equip you with the tools and confidence you need. Join us to unlock your writing potential and make your mark on the blogging world!

YOGA & MINDFULNESS

The perfect combination of yoga practice and mindfulness techniques designed to help you achieve a deeper sense of relaxation and balance. Each session begins with gentle stretching and breathwork to warm up the body, followed by a yoga routine designed to enhance flexibility, strength, and stamina. The class concludes with a soothing meditation or guided relaxation to help you learn techniques to quiet the mind, manage stress, and cultivate inner peace. Join our supportive environment to explore and deepen your connection between body and mind and develop lifelong skills for maintaining calm and balance in everyday life.

FITNESS

Work out and get fit with a new exercise each week. We think movement is good for everyone. By practicing new skills we can strengthen our physical bodies, improve cardiovascular health and develop a sense of well-being. We will explore many activities including running, walking, strength training with weights, yoga and obstacle courses. We will also explore sports including soccer, basketball, tetherball, ping pong, badminton, and more.  We are respectful, courteous, and welcome all people from all walks of life.

OUR STORY

The community classes were formed by a group of people with a vision to create community around shared interests with the intention of  welcoming everyone and everybody. We are forging new friendships and learning new skills, all while supporting each other as we explore the arts, nature, cooking, gardening and more.
